Ca' Di Ponti Nero d'Avola

Nero d'Avola is the native grape of Sicily. We always look out for it on the wine menu at an Italian restaurant. If they know their vino, there will be one on there. 

The intense sun down there in Sicily makes the grapes super ripe. So expect loads of dark fruits and a decent bit of body in this fantastic red.
